ACT Xact Flywheel

Most stock flywheels are heavy cast iron and are designed for optimum drivability by stroring some of the engine's power in the form of inertia. Light flywheels provide significantly improved engine response and acceleration by compromising drivability. Many aftermarket flywheels are too light, fragile and expensive.

Forged Chrome-Alloy Steel, CNC machined to exact tolerances, precision balanced, induction hardened integral ring gear, stronger than cast iron billet steel or aluminium.

There are two options on weight 9Lb and 12lb flywheels.

Exedy Single plate Organic Clutches

Exedy Racing Special Performance Range are intended for special applications where a greater level of performance is required, for example in competition use or where a vehicles performance has been increased.

In most cases the clutches in the range can be fitted to the original flywheel without modification and the standard release mechanism is retained. The two main componants are the cover assembly and the driven plate which must be compatible with one another to provide satisfactory clutch performance.

Exedy Single plate Ceremetalic Clutch

Exedy cerametallic clutches are designed to handle the abuse of high power modified engines. Exedy cerametallic friction material can handle much more slippage than stock type disc assemblies without slipping and fading.
All Exedy cerametallic clutch discs have spring center dampers to reduce the impact and shock loads put into the drive train. This protects the transmission and the rest of the drive line system.
Exedy offers two types of cerametallic discs -normal thickness and reduced thickness.
The reduced thickness ( thin cerametallic ) discs offer greatly reduced inertia to improve gear shift speed. These discs are approximately 1/2 the thickness of a stock disc.
The normal thickness ( thick cerametallic ) discs have better heat capacity and therefore better durability in demanding applications. Even with the normal thickness, Exedy three puck cerametallic discs still typically have less inertia than a stock disc.
With any cerametallic clutch system, there will be some compromise of start up driveability as compared to a stock clutch (chatter on light throttle, low rpm start up). This characteristic is generally felt to be acceptable in modified performance cars.

Exedy Twin Plate Clutch Kit

From high power tuned drag race to street usage, the Exedy multi plate is capable of handling a variety of motor sport applications.
High strength and heat resistant aluminium clutch cover, long life diaphragm spring due to a unique coating applied during the manufacturing process.
In order to prevent heat deformation a bench rated center plate is adapted to the twin plate, termed the “self levelizer function”, in order to improve shift response and clutch life.
New material T5001 carbon metal facing is applied, with high friction co efficiency and high heat resistance, clutch down sizing and a lower pedal effort is achieved.
The Exedy Twin plate clutches are rated at between 500BHP - 750BHP.

The kit consists of a lightweight Chrome-moly steel flywheel, a forged anodized purple aluminium clutch cover.

Exedy Hyper Single Clutches

Compact and lightweight design, incorporating a high rigidity aluminium cover. Reduces inertia while improving engine design eliminates the need for release mechanism conversion kits.
Supplied as a complete kit, Disc/Cover/Flywheel inc.
Improved disengagement, (preasure plate is forcibly seperated from facing surface by strap plate).
Prevents typical rattle noise of lug drive type clutch.
High friction coefficient, low wear, and a special heat resistant material (T5001) has been developed enabling clutch size to be reduced and increased durability to be achieved.
Durability is improved with the use of a stronger, smaller damper disc, especially re-designed for Hyper single clutch.
A lower level of intertia is achieved over the genuine fitment clutch which improves shift response for faster gear changes particularly for racing applications.

The Exedy Hyper Single clutch kit can handle 400 BHP, the flywheel weighs in at 9lb's . Designed with N1 endurance races, drag races, time trials and other competition uses in mind.

Stainless Steel Clutch Cylinder Slave Hose

Tokyo Express introduces its own high performance stainless steel clutch line.
The Tokyo Express clutch line was designed with racing technology and the data acquired throughout our years of expierence. When you OE your factory "rubber" clutch line with one of our clutch lines, you will reduce volumetric expansion by over 70%. With this improvement, you will notice that your clutch engagement and disengagement is faster, consistent and more accurate, thus improving overall performance and consistency.
The Tokyo Express clutch line is ideal for street or race use as it will not negatively affect pedal characteristics. This is the perfect addition when used with upgraded clutch systems that induce increased holding power. Being a direct bolt-on replacement for the OE clutch line, the installation is simple.
The Clutch line is TUV approved and made from aerospace quality hose and fittings. The lines are fully stainless steel braided, inner and outer and feature a teflon inner lining. Zinc plated OE connectors ensure a correct factory fit and easy installation.

QUAIFE A.T.B

The unique design of the QUAIFE patented A.T.B. differential provides smooth constant traction for racing or slippery road conditions.
Suitable as a replacement for the stock Honda part. These differentials have the added benefit of no adverse effect on the steering of a front wheel drive vehicle. The A.T.B. differential is widely used from Formula 1 to emergency vehicles and public utilities where all weather mobility is essential.
The differential progressively locks as torque increases; there are no plates or clutches to wear out as more conventional limited-slip designs. Is particularly effective in combating the effects of FWD torque steer.

The Ultimate Differential

The QUAIFE Automatic Torque Biasing Differential enables your car to accelerate quicker and corner faster.
How? By getting the power to the ground!
The QUAIFE Differential powers both drive wheels under nearly all conditions, instead of just one.

With an ordinary open differential, standard on most cars, a lot of precious power is wasted during wheel spin under acceleration. This happens because the open differential shifts power to the wheel with less grip, along the path of least resistance.

The QUAIFE, however, does just the opposite. It senses which wheel has better grip, and biases the power to that wheel. It does this smoothly and constantly, and without ever completely removing power from the other wheel.
In cornering, while accelerating out of a turn, the QUAIFE biases greater power to the outside wheel, reducing inside-wheel spin. This allows the driver to begin accelerating earlier, exiting the corner at a higher speed.

The QUAIFE also controls loss of traction when the drive wheels are on slippery surfaces such as ice and snow or mud, providing the appropriate biased traction needed to overcome these adverse conditions. The QUAIFE Differential provides constant and infinitely variable drive. Power is transferred automatically without the use of normal friction pads or plates seen in other limited-slip designs.

The QUAIFE'S unique design offers maximum traction, improves handling and steering, and puts the power where it is needed most. A definite advantage whether on the track or on the street.
The QUAIFE is extremely strong and durable and since the Quaife is gear operated, it has no plates or clutches that can wear out and need costly replacement.

The QUAIFE is great for street driving or racing. Racers don't have to put up with locking mechanisms or spools that tear the steering wheel out of their hands when cornering. Because it behaves like an open differential during ordinary driving, street drivers will have trouble telling it's there until pushing the cars limits.
