Thermo Switch
Spoon Sports Thermoswitch activates the radiator fan
at a lower temperature than factory, thus increasing
the cooling efficiency of your car. Match this with
a Spoon radiator cap and thermostat for the ultimate
in thermo-control.
Radiator Cap
This radiator cap aids the efficiency of your vehicles
cooling system. The higher pressure in the radiator
causes the coolants boiling point to raise thus increasing
cooling efficiency. The open valve pressure is 1.35kg.cm2
compared to the normal 1.1kg/cm2. Very similar to the
competitions piece, but with a slightly higher open
valve pressure.
Heat Barrier Tape
The oil contained in the oil pan is constantly being
heated by the exhaust system, and it is, therefore,
difficult to reduce it's temperature. However, by
simply applying this tape to the oil pan, the contained
oil will be shielded from the exhaust heat and the
rise oil temperature can be prevented.
Radiator Hose Set
The Spoon Heat Resistant Radiator hoses make for an
excellent addition to your engine bay. Constructed
from heavy-duty silicon, these radiator hoses resist
heat by 30% over your factory radiator hoses. Available
in traditional Spoon blue with the Spoon Sports logo
dyed in white.
Thermostat
We recommend the use of this thermostat to aid in
the efficiency of your vehicles cooling system. The
Spoon thermostat opens up at a lower temperature than
a factory unit allowing the coolant to flow through
your engine sooner reducing coolant temperature.
Radiator Stay
These radiator mount brackets from Spoon are CNC machined
from billet aluminum and are 1/4 weight of the stock
